Counter Strike Tokyo Game Show


The Asia Cup has qualifiers across Asia beginning this month - July. The LAN final will be held at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) September 20-23, 2012. The Asia Cup has a total prize pool of $15,000. The Asia Cup is partnered with CyAC and sponsored by Alienware.


Asia Cup - Qualifiers


India

Registration for the India qualifier has opened. The India qualifier will have up to 64 teams. As of June 7 the following 22 teams are signed up:

Singapore

With up to 16 teams competing in the qualifier only one has signed up as of June 7: cu.

Registration is open until July 18. Don't let team cu walk into the qualifier if you know someone from Singapore tell them to sign up now. The qualifier (if more people sign up) begins July 21.


Malaysia

Up to 16 teams can register and as of June 7 two teams have registered: Orange-Esports.CS and Hybrid.

Registration closes July 12 - sign up here. The qualifier begins July 14.


Japan

Up to 32 teams will compete in a round robin format starting July 21 and August 4. After the play offs take place August 11 to August 12. Today (June 7) only 3 teams have signed up to play in the Japan Qualifiers Diablo, You do know and United.

With 29 spots still open the deadline to register is July 16. Don't miss your chance register now.


Asia Cup - Finals

The finals take place at Tokyo Game Show October 20-23, 2012 with a $15,000 prize pool. Qualified teams and more details will be added later once the qualifiers are finished.

With only 3 teams signed up for the Japan qualifier anyone who is a fan of Counter Strike 1.6 and wants to see it continue to thrive as an eSport get out there and get more teams to sign up!
